Key Highlights

  • More than 100 dB: the channel-to-channel isolation QTREX Quantum (NASDAQ:QTEX) reported on October 1, 2026 for its cryogenic interconnect at 20 millikelvin, more than 60 dB beyond a 40 dB published figure for leading flexible cabling.
  • Within weeks: when QTREX expects to name the unnamed testing company and disclose a binding definitive agreement, with further quantum agreements and a 2027 financial outlook also promised for the fourth quarter of 2026, per the company.
  • USD 10 million: the private Placement QTREX priced on May 29, 2026 for 6,666,667 ordinary shares, about USD 1.50 each, simple arithmetic, a level that Monday's close of USD 1.54 sits just above after the rally.
  • About 40 percent: Monday's gain for QTREX Quantum (NASDAQ:QTEX) on Volume of about 122 million shares, roughly 19 times average, extending Friday's 40.2 percent surge; premarket on October 6 it traded near USD 1.77, up about 15 percent.

What the Test Measured

QTREX, an Israeli company, said an unnamed leading Quantum Computing company tested its additively manufactured cryogenic interconnect at 20 millikelvin, in its own system with its own instruments. Adjacent channels on a 0.34 millimeter pitch over a 15 centimeter run showed isolation better than 100 dB across the 4 to 8 GHz qubit band. Insertion loss was about 1 dB at 1 GHz and 2 dB at 6 GHz. The company compares that with a 40 dB crosstalk specification published for leading flexible cryogenic cabling.

Why Wiring Matters for Qubits

Every qubit needs several microwave lines running down to a dilution refrigerator, so crosstalk between lines and heat carried into the coldest stages limit how large a machine can grow. QTREX says its monolithic interconnect conducts about half the heat of an equivalent coaxial cable. It acquired the additively manufactured electronics platform from Nano Dimension in a deal that closed on April 6, 2026, and its filings name major global interconnect firms among its competitors.

Contract, Cash and Risk

No agreement is signed: QTREX and the tester are finalizing a binding definitive agreement. The company raised USD 10 million on May 29, 2026 and says it is working to monetize parts of its medical technology business. A technical result is not revenue, and a deal could be small or delayed. After two sessions of roughly 40 percent gains, a failure to name a customer or sign terms could reverse the move quickly.

Where Things Stand

Possibly, but not yet. QTREX Quantum (NASDAQ:QTEX) has strong numbers from an independent party, yet it has not named that party or signed the agreement it describes, so the test is a milestone rather than revenue. The shares have nearly doubled over two sessions, which raises expectations. Next catalysts are the naming of the tester and terms within weeks, further quantum agreements the company expects in the fourth quarter of 2026 and a 2027 financial outlook it says it will provide. A signed agreement would be the first evidence that the test converts into orders.
