A Lower Target After a Collapse
Truist Securities cut its price target on ITG, Inc. (NASDAQ:ITG) to USD 14 from USD 17 on October 5, 2026 and maintained its Buy rating. ITG is a Fort Lauderdale company that builds and maintains fiber, wireless, Data Center and Utility networks, and it listed on Nasdaq on July 1, 2026 at USD 16. Published market data show a 52-week range of USD 6.55 to USD 19.26 and a price near USD 7 in early October. A one-day fall of 32.6 percent on September 28 was followed by a 15.5 percent rebound on September 29. A 17.8 percent one-day surge could not be confirmed, because published sessions show gains between about 1 percent and 20 percent depending on the day and quote.
What Drives ITG's Economics
ITG earns revenue from outsourced planning, design, construction and maintenance for broadband and infrastructure customers, so results depend on spending by a few carriers. The IPO prospectus coverage reported that Comcast and Charter Communications made up about 60 percent of 2025 revenue. The company said second-quarter 2026 revenue grew 38 percent, and it has guided to about 35 percent growth for the full year. Oaktree acquired the Business in 2021 and remains the controlling holder, with selling stockholders offering shares in the IPO. Long-term Debt of about USD 825 million makes the Equity sensitive to interest rates, and the IPO proceeds were earmarked to repay revolving Credit and term Loan debt.
Risks and What to Watch
A target cut with a Buy rating signals lower expectations, not a reversal, and Truist did not publish its reasoning in the material reviewed. Risks include customer concentration, leverage, a thin trading history and possible selling by large holders, which commentators raised after September 28 but ITG has not confirmed. Other published targets include Bank of America at USD 16 and Vertical Research at USD 20, while Weiss Ratings rates the shares sell. Next Earnings are reported for November 6, 2026, and the coming lockup expiry date is not confirmed in the material reviewed. Investors should also track Comcast and Charter spending commentary, because it flows directly into ITG backlog.
Where Things Stand
Truist cut its target on ITG (NASDAQ:ITG) to USD 14 from USD 17 because it lowered its valuation reference, though the reason was not published and the Buy rating stands. The shares are far below the USD 16 IPO price after a violent September 28 drop, and customer concentration and debt keep risk elevated. Reported earnings on November 6, 2026 will test whether growth supports even the lower target.
