Which Companies Posted the Fastest Revenue Growth in the October 27 Earnings Reports?
Seven companies reported double-digit revenue growth on Tuesday, October 27. Seagate Technology (NASDAQ:STX) grew 61% and Innio (NASDAQ:INIO) 57%, followed by SoFi Technologies (NASDAQ:SOFI) at 44% on an adjusted basis and Seacoast Banking (NASDAQ:SBCF) at 37% in net revenues. Landstar System (NASDAQ:LSTR) rose 25.4%, ExlService (NASDAQ:EXLS) 19.7% and PACCAR (NASDAQ:PCAR) 19%.
The drivers range from storage pricing and gas engine orders to freight rates and an acquisition. Growth did not always reach the estimate, since Landstar missed the screen estimate despite the surge, so each section below separates the revenue figure from what came with it, including margins, guidance and the cash returned to shareholders.
Seagate Technology: Why Did Revenue Jump 61%?
Fiscal first-quarter revenue reached $4.233 billion from $2.629 billion, and non-GAAP gross margin climbed to 57.8% from 40.1%. Management credited a strengthening demand environment, value-based pricing and its HAMR-based technology roadmap. Non-GAAP EPS was $7.68 against $2.61, and the company retired about $1.2 billion of debt. Free cash flow was $1.48 billion, and the company guided fiscal second-quarter revenue to $4.8 billion, plus or minus $100 million.
Innio: Is Data Center Demand Behind 57% Growth?
Revenue rose to $1,167.9 million, with equipment revenue up 86% to $777.6 million and services up 20% to $390.3 million. Data center revenue rose to $463 million from $38 million, about 60% of equipment revenue. Management raised 2026 revenue guidance to $3.9 billion to $4.0 billion and adjusted EBITDA guidance to $780 million to $800 million, while net leverage fell to 2.1 times from 3.6 times at year-end 2025. Management also booked a 620 megawatt follow-on order from a mega-scale data center developer.
SoFi Technologies: What Supports 44% Growth and a $6.4 Billion 2027 Target?
Adjusted net revenue was $1.371 billion, and lending revenue rose 66% to $821.3 million on record originations of $16.9 billion. GAAP net income was $241.0 million, and adjusted EBITDA was $469.8 million at a 34% margin. Management expects about $5.04 billion of adjusted net revenue in 2026, roughly 40% growth, and about $6.4 billion in 2027, roughly 27% growth. Total deposits were $51.3 billion, and the personal loan net charge-off rate was 2.26% annualized.
Seacoast Banking: How Much of the 37% Rise Came From Acquisition Scale?
Net revenues were $215.0 million, up 3% from the second quarter and 37% from a year earlier, aided by acquisition scale after the VBI integration. Adjusted diluted EPS was $0.66 against $0.52. The net interest margin was 3.83%, total loans were $13.57 billion, and management cited a $1.3 billion commercial loan pipeline without giving numeric guidance. Nonperforming loans fell to $73.3 million, or 0.54% of loans, and the company paid a $0.19 dividend.
Landstar System: Why Did a 25.4% Revenue Surge Trail the Estimate?
Revenue was $1,511.8 million, and truck transportation revenue rose 29% to $1,407.2 million, mostly on price. Revenue per load climbed 25% to $2,811 while loads grew only 3%. Diluted EPS of $1.42 compared with an estimate of $1.66 as screened, and insurance and claims expense of $55.3 million included about $13.0 million of adverse reserve adjustments. The board raised the quarterly dividend to $0.44 per share from $0.40, and nine-month revenue was $4,115.3 million.
ExlService: Did 19.7% Growth Earn a Second Guidance Raise?
Revenue rose to $634.0 million, and adjusted EPS was $0.62 against $0.48. Guidance moved to $2.430 billion to $2.440 billion in revenue and $2.34 to $2.36 in adjusted EPS, the second raise this year. Data and AI-led revenue, described as almost two-thirds of the business, grew 36% reported, and the iMerit acquisition added a Model Training Solutions practice. The company won 14 new clients in the quarter, and gross margin was 38.0% against 38.5% a year earlier.
PACCAR: Did 19% Growth Come From Trucks or Parts?
Net sales and revenues rose 19% to $7,936.5 million, and net income rose to $847.5 million from $590.0 million. Truck pretax profit climbed to $454.5 million from $102.5 million as deliveries reached 40,100 units. Parts revenue set a record of $1,780.0 million, and a quarterly dividend of $0.35 per share was declared. Management expects U.S. and Canada Class 8 retail sales of 240,000 to 280,000 trucks in 2027, against 240,000 to 260,000 in 2026.
Revenue Growth Compared: How Wide Is the Gap?
Seagate Technology's 61% is 42 percentage points above PACCAR's 19% (calculated), and its revenue added $1.604 billion against $306.4 million at Landstar System and $104.4 million at ExlService (calculated). SoFi Technologies' 2026 guide of roughly 40% growth steps down 13 points to roughly 27% for 2027 (calculated).
Price and volume split differently. Landstar System's revenue per load rose 25% on 3% more loads, while Innio's equipment revenue growth of 86% is more than four times its 20% services growth (calculated). Seacoast Banking's 37% year-over-year gain compares with 3% sequentially, a reminder that acquisition scale supplied much of the lift, and ExlService's raised 2026 range of 16% to 17% reported growth sits below its 19.7% third-quarter pace.
What to Watch Next: Calls, Reports and Guidance Tests
ExlService holds its call on Wednesday, October 28 and Seacoast Banking also holds one, with the commercial real estate concentration and the pipeline in focus. Seagate Technology's fiscal second-quarter report will test the $4.8 billion midpoint, SoFi Technologies' fourth-quarter report will test its implied $1.38 billion revenue figure (calculated), and Landstar System investors will track whether revenue per load holds above $2,800. PACCAR is watched for truck deliveries and the Parts margin, and its PACCAR Connect telematics platform is due in early 2027. Innio will be judged on whether equipment margins hold as deliveries rise, and the implied fourth-quarter revenue of roughly $1,126 million to $1,226 million is a calculated figure, not guidance.
