Revenue

The company has not generated revenue from product sales since inception and reported none in the quarter. It recognized collaboration arrangement revenue in earlier years under agreements tied to Horizon Therapeutics, which were later terminated and amended. In November 2025 the company sold substantially all Assets related to ADX-097 to Akebia Therapeutics. The third quarter included a milestone payment of USD 1.9 million under that agreement, and the company remains eligible for up to USD 580 million of further milestones plus tiered royalties.

Profit and Losses

Operating expenses were USD 10.66 million, against USD 7.58 million in the third quarter of 2025, and the loss from operations was USD 10.66 million. Research and Development expenses were USD 5.1 million, against USD 3.6 million a year earlier. The company linked the change to bempikibart Manufacturing and clinical costs, including an increase of USD 1.7 million, and to preclinical work on ADX-914-XL, partly offset by lower ADX-097 spending. General and administrative expenses were USD 5.5 million, compared with USD 4.0 million, on higher stock-based compensation and employee-related costs.

Other income, net was USD 1.74 million against USD 0.19 million, which the company attributed to higher interest income on a larger average cash balance. Net loss and comprehensive loss was USD 8.92 million. For the nine months, the net loss was USD 25.48 million, against USD 27.91 million a year earlier.

Cash and Balance Sheet

Cash and cash equivalents were USD 289.6 million, and the accumulated Deficit was USD 230.5 million. In May it completed a private Placement with net proceeds of USD 53.4 million. It also repaid about USD 6.8 million under its Loan agreement on June 24, 2026, which terminated that agreement. Net cash used in Operating Activities was USD 13.8 million for the nine months.

Management said current cash is sufficient to fund operating expenses and Capital Expenditure through topline Phase 3 results of bempikibart from the planned registration-directed program, but stated that additional capital would be needed to complete development and any commercialization.
