- Collaboration to use Dell AI Factory and NVIDIA systems for high-performance AI workloads
- Accenture leads delivery, Palantir provides software orchestration for infrastructure operations
Sovereign AI (S-AI), a UK-based provider of AI infrastructure and solutions, has chosen Accenture (NYSE:ACN) and Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:PLTR) to assist in building and scaling next-generation AI data centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The initiative is intended to establish a foundation for sovereign AI capabilities that serve both commercial and government sectors and support broader economic and digital security objectives.
The collaboration is designed to accelerate the development and deployment of sovereign-grade AI infrastructure. S-AI plans to leverage the Dell AI Factory and NVIDIA-powered hardware as the underlying platform to meet the demands of compute-intensive AI workloads under regulated environments. Palantir’s Chain Reaction operating system will coordinate the build-out and ongoing management of infrastructure from power generation through compute deployment, while Accenture will lead efforts around digital transformation, operational delivery, and engineering support.
Recent research from Accenture indicates that a significant portion of European organizations are planning increased investments in sovereign AI technologies over the next two years, underscoring the growing interest in localized AI infrastructure. S-AI’s initiative reflects this trend, with an emphasis on resilient, compliant systems that align with data sovereignty requirements.
Executives from all participating firms outlined the strategic importance of the project. Sovereign AI’s chief executive described the intent to build infrastructure capable of supporting future digital economy requirements. Accenture’s senior managing director highlighted the model for managing safe and secure AI infrastructure expansion across key markets, while Palantir emphasized its software’s role in orchestrating complex infrastructure environments. NVIDIA noted the importance of efficient AI inference in driving enterprise outcomes, and Dell Technologies commented on the need for performance and regulatory compliance in sovereign AI deployments.
The initiative follows the launch of the Accenture Palantir Business Group, a dedicated effort to expedite the delivery of advanced AI and data solutions for global clients. Together, the partners aim to position EMEA as a hub for industrial AI innovation and sovereign digital capability scaling.
