Solaris Energy Infrastructure (NYSE:SEI): Power Contracts Behind the Guidance Raise
Solaris Energy Infrastructure lifted its outlook after adjusted EBITDA rose about 30% sequentially to USD 108.3 million. Three expanded contracts, including a turnkey plant of about 660 megawatts for up to 18 years and a microgrid customer moving from 60 to about 80 megawatts for six years, add more than USD 100 million of expected annual EBITDA. Capacity earning revenue averaged about 950 megawatts, and Capital spending was USD 491.8 million. The shares were USD 58.02 on a 73.71 P/E with a 0.82% yield, so the raise matters for valuation. Financing is the risk, since the company sold USD 1.3 billion of notes, and the company gave no fleet size or 2027 outlook. Brent near USD 114.52 also supports completion-linked logistics at Solaris Energy Infrastructure (NYSE:SEI). The third quarter and fourth quarter ranges imply midpoints of about USD 97.5 million and USD 110 million, simple arithmetic, so the raise still implies a third quarter dip from USD 108.3 million. Power Solutions revenue was USD 158.3 million and Logistics revenue USD 61.1 million. A Solaris Energy Infrastructure (NYSE:SEI) third quarter Dividend of USD 0.12 per share is payable September 25, 2026, the 32nd in a row, and Liquidity was about USD 1.4 billion.
Kodiak Gas Services (NYSE:KGS): Compression Growth Plus Power
Kodiak Gas Services raised adjusted EBITDA guidance but the prior range was not available in the documents reviewed, so the size of the increase cannot be stated. Second quarter revenue rose 21.1% to USD 391.1 million with adjusted EBITDA of USD 216.8 million and non-GAAP EPS of USD 0.55. Discretionary Cash Flow is guided at USD 520 million to USD 570 million, and the 76 megawatt contract, announced September 21, 2026, runs six years with about 40 gas-fueled units deploying from the fourth quarter. The shares were USD 44.71 on a 53.35 P/E, and a trade report said they slipped on an EPS miss despite the raise. Power execution and financing are the risks for Kodiak Gas Services (NYSE:KGS). The Kodiak Gas Services (NYSE:KGS) Yield of 4.42% implies about USD 1.98 per share annually by simple arithmetic, though the declared amount was not confirmed. The power deal is the second long-term primary power contract, with a hyperscaler customer and a Lease guaranteed by a chip designer. Compression revenue is guided at USD 1.25 billion to USD 1.28 billion, and the company also announced a multi-year gas turbine order with Baker Hughes (NASDAQ:BKR) for data center power projects.
Crescent Energy (NYSE:CRGY): Lower Costs and Higher Synergies
Crescent Energy raised the low end of production guidance to 327 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, from 320 thousand, and cut adjusted operating cost guidance to USD 11.00 to USD 12.00 per Barrel of Oil Equivalent from USD 11.50 to USD 12.50. Production taxes are now expected at 5.0% to 6.0% of Commodity revenue instead of 6.0% to 7.0%. Development capital was unchanged at USD 1.325 billion to USD 1.425 billion. Second quarter levered free cash flow was USD 417.7 million, and net Leverage was 1.6 times. The stock was USD 13.80 with a 3.47% yield. Hedges cut realized oil from USD 96.61 to USD 73.33 per barrel, which tempers the oil benefit, and Crescent Energy (NYSE:CRGY) reports after the close on November 2, 2026. Net Income was USD 493.7 million and adjusted EBITDAX USD 797.9 million on output of 335 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, about 42% oil. Crescent Energy (NYSE:CRGY) drilled 43 operated wells and brought 32 online, and about USD 190 million of Vital Energy synergies were captured. Net Debt was USD 4.901 billion, and it redeemed the remaining USD 259 million of 7.75% notes in July with liquidity near USD 2.2 billion.
Talos Energy (NYSE:TALO): Higher Output Before the Shell Deal
Talos Energy raised full-year production guidance to 87 to 91 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day and oil to 64 to 68 thousand, though it excluded the pending Gulf of America deepwater purchase from Shell, reported near USD 850 million, and guided third quarter output lower at 81 to 85 thousand after a shelf divestiture closed on July 15, 2026. General and administrative guidance rose by USD 5 million, capital spending stayed at USD 500 million to USD 550 million, and the borrowing base grows to USD 850 million on closing. At USD 18.38 with a negative trailing EPS, Talos Energy (NYSE:TALO) is rewarded for delivery. Hedge collars with ceilings near USD 74.80 limit the oil benefit, and first oil at Monument is expected by year end. Second quarter net income was USD 149.7 million, adjusted EBITDA USD 402.4 million and adjusted free cash flow USD 231.6 million, against a first quarter loss of USD 256.2 million. Net debt was USD 672.4 million, or 0.5 times, after USD 800 million of 8.000% notes replaced USD 625 million of 9.000% notes. The realized oil price was USD 99.47 per barrel before hedges, and the Monument well found about 250 feet of net pay for Talos Energy (NYSE:TALO).
Where Things Stand
Raised outlooks show different things. Solaris Energy Infrastructure (NYSE:SEI) signals contracted power growth that pays off on delivery. Kodiak Gas Services (NYSE:KGS) signals compression Demand and a new power line, though the shares fell on an EPS miss. Crescent Energy (NYSE:CRGY) signals lower costs and synergies, while hedges absorb part of the oil gain. Talos Energy (NYSE:TALO) signals higher output ahead of the Shell deal. Oil near USD 100 helps, but delivery and financing decide results, and guidance is never a guarantee.
