e.l.f. Cosmetics, a brand under e.l.f. Beauty (NYSE:ELF), has extended its partnership with The Wonder Women of Wrestling Foundation (WWOWF) for a second consecutive year. Under the renewed agreement, e.l.f. will continue as the beauty sponsor of the WWOWF Varsity Girls Wrestling Tournament scheduled for December 29–30, 2025, in Columbia, Missouri. The initiative remains centered on increasing access, visibility, and participation for girls in high school wrestling programs across the United States.

Fastest-Growing High School Sport
Girls wrestling continues to record notable growth nationwide. Participation rose to more than 74,000 athletes during the 2024–2025 school year, reflecting an approximate 15% increase compared with the previous year. Nearly 1,000 additional schools introduced girls wrestling programs year over year, highlighting expanding adoption across states. The growth trend has positioned girls wrestling as the fastest-growing high school sport in the country, according to data from the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Tournament Scale and Reach
The seventh annual WWOWF Varsity Girls Wrestling Tournament is among the largest events of its kind in the United States. Organizers expect the 2025 tournament to host over 800 athletes representing 94 teams from 10 states. Attendance is projected to exceed 1,300 spectators. Year-over-year increases in participation and viewership indicate growing awareness and broader engagement with the sport at the high school level.

Scholarship Support for Student-Athletes
As part of the extended partnership, e.l.f. Cosmetics will continue supporting scholarship initiatives administered by the Wonder Women of Wrestling Foundation. Eight senior wrestlers who are planning to attend college will receive scholarships through the foundation’s annual essay competition. The program is intended to help reduce financial barriers for student-athletes pursuing higher education while continuing their involvement in the sport.

Broader Sports Involvement
The collaboration with WWOWF aligns with e.l.f. Beauty’s wider involvement in women’s sports initiatives across multiple disciplines. The company has ongoing associations with leagues and competitions including women’s soccer, hockey, tennis, and motorsports. These initiatives are structured around increasing participation opportunities, supporting athlete development, and expanding visibility for women’s sports at different competitive levels.
