Diginex Limited (NASDAQ:DGNX), a provider of Sustainability RegTech solutions, announced the signing of a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire The Remedy Project Limited. The Remedy Project, based in Hong Kong, specializes in labor and human rights advisory and research for global supply chains, with expertise in human rights due diligence, grievance mechanisms, and remediation.
Responding to Regulatory Requirements
The acquisition aligns with the growing demand for supply chain remediation, driven by stricter regulations including the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D) and similar international frameworks. These regulations require companies to not only identify human rights risks but also implement verifiable remediation measures, highlighting the need for combined technology and advisory services that connect detection with actionable outcomes.
Integrating Technology with Advisory Expertise
Diginex has previously partnered with global companies to improve supply chain transparency and human rights due diligence. The Remedy Project adds operational-level grievance mechanisms, forced labor remediation frameworks, and access-to-remedy programs. These capabilities complement Diginex’s diginexAPPRISE platform, a multilingual, worker-led application that collects standardized, actionable data directly from supply chain workers to identify risks and improve transparency.
Leadership and Strategic Integration
Archana Kotecha, Founder and CEO of The Remedy Project, will join Diginex's executive team, concentrating on remedy innovation and developing global relationships with corporations and governments.
