Taylor Morrison Home Corporation (NYSE: TMHC) owns and operate a residential homebuilding business and develops lifestyle communities, majorly in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, North and South Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. Taylor Morrison, Darling Homes, Esplanade, and William Lyon are the company's homebuilding brands. It also provides financial services and homeowner's insurance policies via its wholly-owned subsidiary (Taylor Morrison Home Funding, Inc.). As of December 02, 2021, its market capitalization stood at USD 3.80 billion.

  • Strategic Collaborations: On November 17, 2021, TMHC and Värde Partners, a global alternative investment company, have entered into a land banking facility agreement and formed a joint venture that opened USD 1 billion in capacity for new land opportunities. Värde will continue to act as a substantial financial partner in the acquisition and development of residential land and lots across the homebuilder's markets of operation as a result of this strategic agreement. At the same time, THMC will develop and manage the home building projects.

We have valued the stock using the EV/EBITDA multiple-based relative valuation methodology and arrived at a target price of USD 29.39.

Considering the uptick in the stock price and current valuation, we believe the decent business fundamentals are adequately reflected at current trading levels. Hence, we recommend a "Sell" rating on the stock at the closing price of USD 32.91, up 6.40% as of December 02, 2021.
