Society Pass Incorporated (Nasdaq-SOPA/">Nasdaq:SOPA) and its majority-owned Subsidiary NusaTrip Incorporated (Nasdaq:NUTR) announced an exclusive strategic technology partnership with Gorilla Networks Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based embedded SIM (eSIM) infrastructure provider. The agreement positions Gorilla as NusaTrip’s exclusive global eSIM connectivity platform across its online travel agency ecosystem and affiliated distribution channels.
Under the arrangement, Gorilla will support the development, operation, and expansion of NusaTrip’s white-label eSIM products while NusaTrip retains full control over customer-facing branding. The partnership covers NusaTrip-owned platforms, controlled B2C and B2B travel channels, and affiliated travel brands operating across Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Technology Scope and Integration
The partnership enables Gorilla to deliver a full platform-level connectivity stack to NusaTrip. This includes global eSIM infrastructure, network access, and end-to-end profile lifecycle management. Integration tools such as APIs, SDKs, and technical documentation will allow eSIM services to be embedded directly into booking and post-booking workflows.
The platform also supports backend systems for centralized monitoring, analytics, and performance reporting. NusaTrip will be able to offer country-specific, regional, and global data plans, along with time-based or Volume-based prepaid Options. Connectivity bundles linked to flights, hotels, and other travel services are also included within the technical framework.
Market Context and Industry Trends
According to Juniper Research, the global travel eSIM market is projected to expand from USD 1.8 billion in 2025 to USD 8.7 billion by 2030, representing Revenue">revenue growth of approximately 380% over the period. Market expansion is attributed to rising international travel activity, declining connectivity costs, increasing device compatibility, and continued product innovation.
Simplified activation procedures and broader service offerings are enabling eSIM providers to address both consumer and Business traveler Demand. As connectivity becomes increasingly embedded into digital travel experiences, platforms integrating eSIM services are expanding beyond standalone connectivity solutions.
Strategic Positioning Within Travel Ecosystem
Through this partnership, NusaTrip integrates mobile connectivity as part of the broader travel lifecycle, extending from pre-travel planning to post-arrival usage. The agreement allows the company to expand digital service offerings without altering existing branding or customer relationship structures.
