RUCKUS Sale Funds a USD 15.00 Per Share Payout Plan
Vistance Networks (NASDAQ:VISN), formerly CommScope Holding, supplies communications infrastructure and kept its Aurora Networks cable and video equipment segment after selling RUCKUS, its Wi-Fi and switching unit, to Belden on July 1, 2026 for about USD 1.846 billion in cash, free of debt. In the second quarter it paid USD 2,316.3 million to common shareholders, redeemed USD 1,278.7 million of convertible preferred stock and repaid USD 7,370.8 million of debt in the first half. Management said total 2026 returns would reach USD 15.00 per share, or about USD 3.4 billion, and it announced a further USD 5.00 per share distribution payable by the end of August.
Aurora Guidance Cut on Memory Chip Costs
The remaining Aurora business had second quarter segment sales of USD 319.2 million and Operating Income of USD 7.0 million, down from USD 49.6 million. Core adjusted EBITDA of USD 45.5 million fell 43.3%, and 2026 Aurora adjusted EBITDA guidance of USD 200 million to USD 225 million was lowered by USD 25 million, which management tied to memory chip pricing and availability. Operating Cash Flow was negative USD 72.7 million. The release gave cash as USD 151.6 million including USD 38.0 million held for sale, while the Balance Sheet line shows USD 113.6 million, a gap that should be reconciled. Management expects USD 700 million to USD 750 million of cash and no debt at year-end, a USD 160 million tax refund in 2027 and a USD 100 million buyback authorization.
Reading a 936.82% EPS Change and a Post-Distribution Price
The aggressive small-cap screen lists a one year EPS change of 936.82% for Vistance Networks (NASDAQ:VISN). The second quarter GAAP diluted EPS of USD 1.21 included USD 269.1 million of income from discontinued operations, while income from continuing operations was USD 0.06 per share and adjusted EPS was USD 0.12 against USD 0.13. A change this large reflects the sale gain and a low prior base, not operating growth. Prices before and after large distributions are not comparable, so USD 6.45, a published coverage figure of USD 6.15 on October 23 and the 0.69% decline should be read cautiously. Market Capitalization was not verified.
Where Things Stand
Because the sale of RUCKUS turned a heavily indebted company into a debt-free one with a large cash return policy. Vistance Networks (NASDAQ:VISN) repaid its debt, redeemed preferred stock and outlined USD 15.00 per share of 2026 returns, but the continuing business is smaller, with sales down 1.4% and adjusted EBITDA down 32.1%. The next catalyst is the third quarter report on November 5, 2026, where cash against the USD 700 million to USD 750 million year-end target, memory chip effects and Aurora margins can be checked. Quoted prices and screen EPS figures are unverified.
