MoneyHero Limited (NASDAQ:MNY), a personal finance comparison platform and digital insurance brokerage in Greater Southeast Asia, announced the launch of Project Odyssey, a group-wide artificial intelligence transformation initiative. The program is designed to enhance revenue growth, improve operating margins, and streamline customer experiences through automation and conversational AI-based products.

As part of this initiative, MoneyHero has begun deploying its AI-powered Car Insurance SaverBot Beta on WhatsApp in Singapore, allowing users to compare car insurance policies and complete purchases through real-time chat-based interactions.

Financial and Operational Update

MoneyHero recorded over 20% quarter-on-quarter revenue growth from Q1 to Q2 2025, driven by higher conversions in credit card, personal loan, and insurance product categories.

The company remains on track to achieve positive Adjusted EBITDA and generate free cash flow in the later part of 2025. As of June 30, 2025, MoneyHero reported approximately USD 30 million in cash and cash equivalents. The company’s member base reached around 8.6 million across Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Philippines.

Revenue from the insurance and wealth segments accounted for over 20% of total revenue as of June 2025, with a target to exceed 30% by year-end 2026.

Car Insurance SaverBot Beta Deployment

This conversational AI tool enables users to:

  • Compare insurance options through interactive dialogue.
  • View detailed policy information and benefits.
  • Complete policy purchases directly through insurer-linked pages.

Internal pilot tests indicated that the SaverBot reduced the average quote process from 8–12 minutes to under 3 minutes, replacing multiple form fields with a guided conversation.

AI Transformation and Roadmap

MoneyHero’s AI transformation phase follows 18 months of operational restructuring focused on efficiency and cost management. Project Odyssey aims to embed AI into key workflows, boosting scalability and conversion efficiency across core business areas.

Chief Executive Officer Rohith Murthy stated, “We’ve demonstrated we can grow profitably—Q2 marked our first quarterly net income. Project Odyssey applies AI pragmatically to remove customer friction and lift conversion across our higher-margin verticals. The Car Insurance SaverBot Beta converts a multi-step form into a single conversation, making it easier for our 8.6 million members to navigate complex financial decisions.”

The company intends to expand its conversational AI framework to other categories, including credit cards, personal loans, travel insurance, and wealth products, through 2026.

MoneyHero anticipates its AI-driven products to play a significant role in the insurance vertical, aiming for approximately 30% of group revenue by the end of 2026.

Market Presence in Southeast Asia

Operating across Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Philippines, MoneyHero is among the largest personal finance platforms in the region, supported by over 270 commercial partnerships and 5.3 million monthly unique users as of June 30, 2025. The company plans to leverage its user data and regional network to expand AI-enabled financial solutions across multiple markets.

MoneyHero is expected to report Q3 2025 financial results in early December 2025, followed by a conference call to discuss Project Odyssey’s progress, financial performance, and growth plans for 2026.
