Grid Dynamics (NASDAQ:GDYN) shares are indicated down 1.50% at $8.53 in premarket, from a prior close of $8.66, as investors position ahead of the third-quarter earnings release due after the close on Thursday. The stock has gained about 13.6% over the past month.

Grid Dynamics, based in San Ramon, California, is a digital engineering and IT services firm founded in 2006 that positions itself as an AI transformation partner for Fortune 1000 clients. It provides AI, data and analytics, cloud and DevOps, digital engagement, and platform and product engineering services across retail, technology, media and telecom, financial services, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing and healthcare. It is led by CEO Leonard Livschitz.

New Practice Extends AI Work Beyond Engineering

On Tuesday after the close, Grid Dynamics launched a Business Process Consulting practice. It extends the company beyond technology implementation into the non-technical side of enterprise AI adoption: finding the processes with the most potential, building investment cases, redesigning workflows and driving change management after deployment.

The practice is built on ARC, short for Assess, Reengineer, Capture, and draws on partnerships with process intelligence provider QPR and change management specialist Prosci. It uses generative and agentic AI to tailor adoption guidance to each employee and gives leaders dashboards to track progress. "Getting AI into production is a milestone, not the finish line," said Chief Revenue Officer Vasily Sizov.

What Analysts Expect Thursday

Analysts expect adjusted EPS of about $0.12, with estimates ranging from $0.12 to $0.13, and revenue of roughly $112.8 million to $113 million. That sits within company guidance of $112 million to $114 million and is about 8% above the year-ago quarter.

Grid Dynamics has beaten estimates in five of the last seven quarters. In the second quarter it reported EPS of $0.11 against $0.10 expected and revenue of $108.16 million against $106.55 million. Options imply a move of about 16.5% after the report, against an average historical post-earnings move of 8.6%.

Peers Show Mixed Signals

Peer read-throughs are mixed. Accenture (NYSE:ACN) held up, but Cognizant (NASDAQ:CTSH) fell about 4.9% on Tuesday, and Infosys (NYSE:INFY) flagged AI-driven pricing pressure. The average analyst target of $9.40 sits only modestly above the share price, and the consensus rating is Hold. The 52-week range runs from $5.11 to $10.21.

Investors will look for sequential revenue growth, margins, full-year guidance and demand for AI transformation work from Fortune 1000 clients.
