Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA) announced preliminary financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 2026, covering the period ended December 31, 2025. The company reported higher net bookings driven by engagement across its gaming portfolio, alongside modest revenue growth and changes in profitability metrics.
Net bookings for the quarter totaled USD 3.046 billion, reflecting a 38% increase compared with USD 2.215 billion in the corresponding quarter of fiscal 2025. The growth was supported by performance across multiple franchises, including Battlefield 6, which recorded notable engagement and sales activity during the year.
EA SPORTS FC contributed to the bookings increase, with net bookings rising in the high single-digit range year-over-year when excluding the timing impact of deluxe edition content. The growth was primarily linked to performance in Ultimate Team and FC Mobile segments. Apex Legends also contributed to the quarter’s results, with bookings rising at a double-digit rate year-over-year following updates, features, and in-game events.
Quarterly net revenue reached USD 1.901 billion, slightly higher than USD 1.883 billion reported in the prior-year quarter. Revenue from full-game sales totaled USD 632 million, compared with USD 599 million in the previous year period. Meanwhile, revenue from live services and other segments reached USD 1.269 billion, marginally lower than USD 1.284 billion in the corresponding quarter of fiscal 2025.
Net income for the quarter was USD 88 million, compared with USD 293 million in the same quarter last year. Diluted earnings per share were USD 0.35, down from USD 1.11 in the prior-year period. Operating cash flow increased to USD 1.826 billion during the quarter, compared with USD 1.176 billion recorded a year earlier.
For the trailing twelve months ended December 31, 2025, total net revenue was USD 7.306 billion, compared with USD 7.347 billion in the previous twelve-month period. Net income during the trailing twelve months totaled USD 680 million, compared with USD 1.049 billion in the prior comparable period. Operating cash flow over the same period reached USD 2.522 billion, increasing from USD 2.110 billion.
Electronic Arts also declared a quarterly cash dividend of USD 0.19 per share, payable on March 18, 2026, to stockholders of record as of February 25, 2026.
