DocGo Inc. (NASDAQ:DCGO) has announced the upcoming launch of its care gap closure services in New Mexico, designed to enhance access to healthcare for approximately 10,000 Turquoise Care members. The initiative builds on the company’s ongoing partnership with a national insurance provider, broadening its reach to deliver more accessible, home-based medical support.
The program’s central goal is to reengage patients with the healthcare system by providing in-home care services that help address logistical and social barriers. These barriers often prevent individuals from maintaining regular contact with healthcare providers. Through this model, DocGo aims to make preventive and routine healthcare more convenient for members across the state.
“By leveraging our proven technology and dedicated mobile clinicians to help remove barriers to care, this program is another step towards our vision of making health care available at any address,” said Lee Bienstock, CEO of DocGo.
Under the program, patients will be able to access a range of services directly from home, including well child visits, vaccinations, and hypertension and diabetes control assessments. DocGo also plans to expand into primary care offerings for the New Mexico market, helping members stay connected to their health needs and manage chronic conditions more effectively over time.
“Our work in New Mexico will allow us to bridge critical gaps in access to care,” said Dr. James Powell, CEO of the DocGo Clinical Practice Group. “With the reach of our mobile health teams, the power of our technology, and our ability to close nearly 50 different care gaps, we can meet patients where they are and provide the right care at the right time. I believe this initiative will make a real difference in improving health outcomes, and reinforce DocGo’s leadership in facilitating high-quality, highly accessible health care to all.”
The expansion in New Mexico marks another step in DocGo’s strategy to make healthcare delivery more proactive and location-flexible. The company’s mobile health infrastructure and remote monitoring capabilities continue to extend its reach across multiple regions, serving patients who might otherwise face challenges accessing traditional healthcare settings.
