BETA Technologies (NYSE:BETA) was trading up 14.67% at $23.37 in today's regular session, a gain of $2.99 from the prior close of $20.38, well ahead of the industrials sector. The company reported record third-quarter revenue of $17.7 million, up about 98% year over year, against a consensus near $10.8 million and guidance of $8 million to $12 million.

BETA, based in South Burlington, Vermont, was founded in 2017 and went public in November 2025. It designs, makes and sells the ALIA CX300 conventional takeoff and landing aircraft, the A250 eVTOL and the MV250 defense variant, along with the vertically integrated proprietary batteries, motors, flight controls and nationwide charging network behind them. It has about 1,000 employees and a Backlog above $4 billion. CX300 type certification is targeted for late 2026.

Revenue, EBITDA Loss and Cash

Year-to-date revenue is $42.5 million. The 2026 revenue guide rose to $52 million to $57 million from $42 million to $50 million, which implies about $9 million to $14 million in the fourth quarter. Gross Margin expanded about 300 basis points year over year.

Third-quarter adjusted EBITDA was a loss of $97.4 million, better than guidance of a $115 million to $125 million loss. Operating expenses were $140.5 million, including $90.5 million of R&D and $50 million of G&A, and Capitalization of qualifying CX300 aircraft components began. Full-year adjusted EBITDA loss guidance of $400 million to $445 million and Capital Expenditure guidance are unchanged, and management expects R&D to step up in 2027. Cash was about $1.3 billion at quarter end, and the $830 million EXIM financing package for domestic Manufacturing is advancing.

Year-End Milestones and Aircraft Progress

Three of five year-end KPIs are met: a backlog of just over $4 billion covering over 1,000 aircraft in firm and option orders, more than 250,000 nautical miles flown and 168 charging sites against a target of 150. A production demonstration of 4.5 aircraft per month is on track.

The A250 received an FAA Market Survey Airworthiness Certificate on October 16, the first for an electric VTOL, and flew a 34 nautical mile vertical-to-vertical flight on October 20. Six of seven EIPP programs are live, the components Business has a backlog of roughly $1 billion, and the MV250 hybrid-autonomous defense aircraft is advancing with a second demonstrator being assembled. The stock has a 52-week range of $13.43 to $39.50, and the consensus target is $31.50.

CX300 Certification and 2027 Guidance Are the Next Markers

BETA is trading sharply higher on record revenue and raised guidance. The next items to follow are FAA type certification progress for the CX300, 2027 guidance on the fourth-quarter call and the 4.5 aircraft-per-month production demonstration.
