Lycia Therapeutics (NASDAQ:LYCA): profit taking after a strong debut

Lycia Therapeutics (NASDAQ:LYCA) priced its upsized initial public offering on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at USD 18.00 per share, selling 17,640,000 shares for gross proceeds of about USD 317.5 million. Trading began on Friday, October 23, 2026 on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. The shares fell about 9.9% in early trading on Monday, October 26, 2026 to near USD 27.05, which implies a prior close near USD 30. The company has not issued a release explaining the move.

The shares remain about 50% above the offer price, so buyers at the offering hold gains and some sell, while new buyers weigh clinical risk. Lycia develops degraders, molecules that remove disease-causing proteins from outside the cell, using its LYTAC platform. Lead candidates are LCA-0061, an IgE degrader for food allergy, and LCA-0321 for Graves disease. With no approved product, the price rests on platform credibility, and the raise gives a long cash runway.

The risks are volatility while the float is small, early clinical failure and supply from lock-up expiries, normally about 180 days after an offering, for which the company has not announced a schedule. Research initiations are customarily permitted 25 days after the offering, around Tuesday, November 17, 2026.

Davion Healthcare (NASDAQ:DAVI): price discovery for a new medical device listing

Davion Healthcare (NASDAQ:DAVI), a Dublin based developer of home health monitoring devices, fell about 25% to USD 4.50 in early trading from a prior close near USD 6.00. The company has not issued a release explaining the move. Shares were expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on Thursday, October 22, 2026, so Monday is one of the first sessions with a price history. Leadership changed at the start of trading, with Glenn Williams becoming chief executive officer.

A listing without a conventional offering leaves price discovery to the open market, so early sessions can swing widely. The flagship BreastCheck is an FDA registered at-home breast health screening test, described by the company as not a replacement for mammography or clinical diagnosis. A reported float of 25 million shares supplies the tradable base, and direct commercialisation began in June 2026.

Much of the valuation rests on a GBP 30 million, five year senior secured bond issued through Davion Healthcare Finance Ltd to fund acquisitions in medical devices, services, distribution and diagnostics. Interest obligations will build before products generate revenue at scale. Home screening tests also face regulatory and clinical scrutiny. Investors should watch acquisitions under the bond, BreastCheck sales and the first filings after listing.

Yimutian (NASDAQ:YMT): listing pressure at a recent Chinese IPO

Yimutian (NASDAQ:YMT), a Chinese agricultural trading platform whose American depositary shares are listed in the United States, traded about 11.63% lower at roughly USD 0.49 per depositary share in early trading, with prices intraday. The company has not issued a release explaining the move. It priced an initial public offering of about USD 20.5 million. On Tuesday, May 19, 2026 it disclosed a Nasdaq notification on market value of listed securities and a delisting notice subject to a hearing, and a positive listing determination followed on Friday, July 10, 2026.

A depositary share represents a number of ordinary shares held by a depositary bank, and changing the ratio works like a reverse split: fewer shares trade at a proportionally higher price without changing the value of a holding. Yimutian announced such a change on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, with a 15-for-1 ratio in May 2026, and a further plan on Friday, August 7, 2026. The transfer to the Capital Market gives more time to cure deficiencies.

A quoted price near USD 0.49, if accurate, would sit well below the USD 1.00 minimum bid, which raises further compliance questions. The risks are delisting, dilution from financing at low prices and China exposure.

Callan JMB (NASDAQ:CJMB): a large revenue target against an early-stage plan

Callan JMB (NASDAQ:CJMB) traded about 10.79% lower, near USD 0.51 intraday, in early trading. The company has not issued a release explaining the move. Its announcement of Thursday, October 22, 2026 described an IV bag manufacturing facility in Marion, Alabama, funded by USD 16 million from an unnamed third party through a non-dilutive, non-interest-bearing partnership. Groundbreaking is expected before the end of October 2026.

The company projects USD 450 million in annual revenue once operational, about USD 300 million from standard IV bags and USD 150 million from premixed drug bags. That target is about 28 times the committed funding, calculated from the release. The release gave no production start date, customer contracts or company financial figures, so the market is weighing a large target against an early plan.

The main risk is delivery, since construction, regulatory approval and customer contracts must follow groundbreaking before revenue appears. A price below USD 1.00 can also attract a minimum bid notice after 30 consecutive business days. Investors should watch the groundbreaking and any naming of the funding partner.

Where Things Stand

The answer is that all four faced supply and valuation tests that are common after new or newly reset listings, rather than company-specific bad news. Lycia Therapeutics (NASDAQ:LYCA) gave back part of a debut that left it about 50% above its USD 18.00 offer, Davion Healthcare (NASDAQ:DAVI) fell 25% in its first week, Yimutian (NASDAQ:YMT) fell 11.63% under repeated listing pressure, and Callan JMB (NASDAQ:CJMB) fell 10.79% against an unproven USD 450 million target. The next catalysts are the Federal Reserve decision on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the Callan groundbreaking before the end of October and Lycia research initiations around Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Newly listed shares are volatile, and this is not investment advice.
