Infosys (NYSE:INFY) has announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) aimed at accelerating enterprise adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI). The initiative brings together Infosys Topaz, the company’s AI-first services and platforms portfolio, with Amazon Q Developer, AWS’s generative AI-powered assistant. The collaboration is designed to support both internal operations at Infosys and AI-driven solutions for global clients across multiple industries.

Integration Across Software Development Lifecycle
As part of the collaboration, Infosys is applying generative AI capabilities across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). The integration of Infosys Topaz with Amazon Q Developer enables automation in documentation and provides contextual assistance for activities such as code generation, debugging, testing, and modernization of legacy applications. These capabilities are intended to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve consistency across development processes.

AI Adoption Across Internal Enterprise Functions
Beyond software engineering, Infosys is extending generative AI usage to internal enterprise functions including human resources, recruitment, sales enablement, and vendor management. AI-driven tools are being applied to support decision-making, process standardisation, and task automation across these functions. The collaboration with AWS enables Infosys to incorporate cloud-based AI services to manage complex internal operations while maintaining scalability.

Industry-Specific Client Solutions
Infosys is also leveraging AWS generative AI services to deliver industry-focused solutions for clients. Use cases span sectors such as manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, consumer goods, and media. In sports and entertainment, the collaboration includes end-user engagement platforms built using Infosys Topaz and Amazon Bedrock. These platforms are designed to enable real-time, personalised digital experiences for large user bases.

Cloud and AI Alignment
The collaboration reflects a broader alignment between cloud infrastructure and enterprise AI deployment. By combining AWS’s generative AI services with Infosys’ AI platforms, the initiative supports the development and deployment of AI-driven applications at scale.
