Agency mortgage-backed securities rose to $5.26 billion at fair value from $3.46 billion at year-end 2025, while loans held for investment fell to $7.89 billion from $9.80 billion.
The Residential Origination segment, built around HomeXpress, which Chimera acquired on October 1, 2025, funded $1.1 billion of loans, up 30% from a year earlier on a standalone basis. The segment earned $8.7 million, with non-GAAP EBTDA of $11.8 million. Dividend plan and second-half priorities
