Key Highlights
- Bullish shares fell 16.05% on October 30, 2026.

Bullish (NYSE:BLSH) fell 16.05% on Friday as crypto-linked stocks were hit by news of a record hack at Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange. No company-specific news from Bullish was found, and the available information does not tie the company to the Binance incident. The decline reflects a sector-wide sell-off. Its third-quarter report is due on November 18, so Friday's move came ahead of any new financial disclosure.
The Hack
Binance reported a hack estimated at about $6.3 billion. Market reports said the attack took place during late US hours on Thursday and appeared to target Binance's transaction-signing infrastructure rather than the Bitcoin network. Several firms moved to freeze stolen funds: Tether froze more than $1.5 billion, Circle (NYSE:CRCL) blocked about $800 million and Ripple froze roughly $200 million, with about $3 billion frozen in total. Freezing funds is not the same as recovering them, and the breach shook confidence across digital assets.
Crypto Stocks Sold Off Together
Bitcoin fell to roughly $76,800, and Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) and other crypto-linked stocks dropped hard. Bullish operates a regulated digital asset exchange focused on institutional clients and owns the crypto news and data Business CoinDesk. Cantor Fitzgerald, TD Cowen and Compass Point published notes on Friday arguing the hack is unlikely to derail the crypto market's recovery and urging investors to consider buying crypto stocks on weakness. The notes named Bullish, along with Coinbase, Hyperliquid and decentralized exchanges, as a possible beneficiary if traders move business away from Binance. Compass Point said Binance has enough Liquidity to cover customer losses, while flagging possible pressure on Stablecoin Supply and withdrawals from decentralized lending platforms.
Sell First, Sort Winners Later
In the short run, a security breach of this size raises questions about custody risk across centralized platforms, can dampen trading activity and can trigger tighter regulatory scrutiny, all of which weigh on exchange operators regardless of direct involvement. The S&P 500 fell 140.32 points, or 1.8%, to 7,580.07 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 747.73 points, or 2.9%, to 25,437.00, as Intel (NASDAQ:INTC)'s weak outlook triggered a chip rout and Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN)'s results revived worries about AI spending.
What to Watch
Investors will watch how much of the stolen funds is frozen or recovered, whether Binance restores normal operations smoothly, how bitcoin trades around levels analysts flagged and whether Bullish reports any measurable shift in institutional activity in the weeks ahead.
