Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET): Revenue Growth Beats the Company's Own Guidance

Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET) reported third-quarter results on November 3, 2026, for the period ended September 30, 2026. Revenue reached USD 3,657.6 million, up 58.5% from a year earlier and 20.5% above the second quarter. Product revenue rose to USD 3,190.0 million from USD 1,911.7 million, and the company said the quarter beat its prior guidance of USD 3.3 billion. GAAP Diluted Earnings per Share were USD 1.22 against non-GAAP earnings of USD 1.20, an unusual ordering explained by a USD 134.5 million gain on strategic investments that the adjusted figure excludes. Non-GAAP gross Margin slipped to 64.0% from 65.2%, and inventories climbed to USD 3,209.8 million from USD 2,247.1 million at year-end, which ties up cash. The company's risk list cites tariffs, sole-source components and large purchases by a limited number of customers. Management also noted the company was added to the S&P 100 index in September 2026. Fourth-quarter guidance of USD 3.9 to 4.0 billion implies sequential growth of roughly 7% to 9%, simple arithmetic on company figures. This is a result, not a preview, and no share price move was supplied.

Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI): Record Sales, Negative Operating Cash Flow

Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI) announced unaudited results for the first quarter of fiscal 2027 on November 3, 2026. Net sales were USD 19.9 billion against USD 11.1 billion in the prior quarter, roughly 80% higher on our own arithmetic. Net income was USD 1,594 million, or USD 1.75 per diluted share, yet cash used in operations was USD 434 million. Accounts Receivable rose to USD 9.7 billion from USD 6.1 billion at June 30, 2026, and inventories rose to USD 15.1 billion from USD 12.9 billion. When sales scale this fast, customers pay after products ship, so profit shows up before cash does. GAAP gross margin was 12.7% against 17.5% in the prior quarter. Bank Debt and convertible notes totaled USD 8.6 billion against cash of USD 6.9 billion. The company stressed that the figures are preliminary, closing procedures are incomplete and its auditor has performed no procedures on them, so final results could differ. The company also lists a more concentrated customer base, falling average selling prices and tariffs among its risks. Second-quarter sales are guided to USD 19.5 billion to USD 21.5 billion.

EchoStar (NASDAQ:ECHO): A USD 2.78 Billion Profit Built on Gains

EchoStar (NASDAQ:ECHO) filed its Quarterly Report for the period ended September 30, 2026 on November 3, 2026. Net income attributable to the company was USD 2.78 billion, or USD 7.97 per diluted share, against a USD 12.78 billion loss a year earlier. Operating Income was only USD 147.8 million on revenue of USD 1.13 billion, down from USD 3.61 billion. The swing came from a USD 3.11 billion gain from the AT&T Transactions and a USD 439.2 million deconsolidation gain, which together total USD 3.55 billion on simple arithmetic and exceed pre-tax income of USD 3.40 billion. The filing says the revenue change primarily reflects the Deconsolidated Subsidiaries and the AT&T Transactions, so the comparison is not like for like. Cash rose to USD 13.44 billion from USD 1.88 billion, and long-term debt and other obligations fell to USD 9.64 billion from USD 18.66 billion. The extract does not explain the terms of the AT&T Transactions, and one-time gains do not recur, so quarterly profit is not a guide to future earnings.

Ouster (NASDAQ:OUST): Small Tariff Refunds and Thin Financial Detail

Ouster (NASDAQ:OUST) filed its quarterly report on November 3, 2026, and said it received cash refunds of USD 5.4 million plus interest relating to IEEPA import duties during the first nine months of 2026. The filing does not say how the amount was booked or how it affected margins. The extract supplied here also did not include revenue, net loss or cash figures, so none are quoted. The company designs digital lidar sensors and acquired Stereolabs on February 4, 2026, adding stereo cameras, edge compute and perception software. Its Rev8 lidar family was announced on May 4, 2026. Customers take six months to several years to reach commercial production, which makes revenue timing hard to predict. Risks include downward pressure on average selling prices, limited or single-source components and tariffs on parts from several countries. Investors should read the full 10-Q before drawing conclusions.

Where Things Stand

The cash burn at Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI) reflects Working Capital rather than a failed quarter, but it is the sharpest contrast in this group. Net income of USD 1,594 million was outweighed by receivables and inventory, and the figures are unaudited. Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET) showed growth that was real and above guidance, with margin and inventory caveats. EchoStar (NASDAQ:ECHO) reported a gain-led profit rather than an operating improvement. Ouster (NASDAQ:OUST) offered only a modest refund and no verified earnings figures. Balance and risk differ too: SMCI carries USD 8.6 billion of debt and convertible notes, ECHO holds USD 13.44 billion of cash, and OUST flags price pressure and single-source parts. Nothing here is a forecast of share price direction. The next checkpoints are SMCI receivable collection, ANET fourth-quarter results, ECHO results without one-time gains and further OUST disclosure.
