GAAP operating income was USD 201 million, up 5%, with GAAP gross margin of 44.9%, up 150 basis points. Cash Generation and Capital Return

Cash flow from operations was USD 164 million for the quarter, with a quarter-ending cash balance of USD 1.51 billion. The company returned USD 406 million of cash to shareholders during the quarter through its annual dividend and share repurchase program, reflecting continued execution of its capital allocation policy.

This level of capital return, alongside continued margin expansion, reflects the company's stated commitment to disciplined cost management while funding targeted investments intended to support future growth across its product categories.

Semiconductor Disruption Weighs on Near Term Outlook

The company said one of its semiconductor suppliers experienced a serious incident at its manufacturing facility that resulted in a closure at the end of June. The facility reopened in September and began ramping production, though current capacity remains below the company's required level, with full production targeted to resume by the end of the calendar year.

As a result, the company guided third quarter net sales to a range of negative 5% to flat year over year in constant currency, which includes an estimated USD 70 million to USD 80 million negative impact from the supplier incident. The company expects this impact to be largely resolved by the fourth quarter, with non-GAAP operating income guided to a range of USD 220 million to USD 255 million for the third quarter.

Supply Chain Recovery Metrics to Track

The pace of the semiconductor supplier's production ramp relative to the company's required capacity levels, third quarter net sales relative to the guided negative 5% to flat range, and the resolution timeline for the estimated USD 70 million to USD 80 million revenue impact are among the items the company has flagged for investors heading into the holiday quarter.
