Negotiations continued as rising energy costs put pressure on the Trump administration during the US midterm elections.

Bonds Commentary
The US 10-year Treasury Yield edged up to 4.94% on Tuesday after falling 3 basis points on Monday, as investors awaited the midterm election results and the JOLTS Job openings report. Oil prices also rebounded following reports of a US strike on Iran’s Qeshm Island. Excluding that cash cushion, projected borrowing needs were USD 24 billion above the August estimate.
