REV Group(NYSE:REVG),the parent company of Horton Emergency Vehicles, has announced a significant USD 2.6Minvestmentto expand the ambulance manufacturer’s operations in Grove City, Ohio. The company has acquired a 20,000-square-foot building adjacent to Horton’s existing facility, aiming to enhance production efficiency, streamline delivery processes, and improve customer satisfaction. 
The newly purchased property, located at 3873 Gantz Road, will be dedicated to final assembly and delivery functions. According to the company, this shift will free up additional space within the current production area, allowing for smoother workflow and improved capacity to meet growing demand for emergency medical vehicles. 

Driving Efficiency and Enhancing Customer Experience 

Horton Emergency Vehicles has long been recognized for its emphasis on safety, customization, and engineering excellence. With this expansion, the manufacturer plans to accelerate delivery timelines while offering a more seamless customer experience. 
Mike Albers, vice president and general manager of Horton Emergency Vehicles, highlighted the significance of the opportunity. He noted that acquiring a property directly adjacent to the current assembly plant allows Horton to create more space for employees and operations, while enabling faster delivery of their high-quality ambulances to dealers and customers. 
In addition to workflow enhancements, the new building also offers expanded parking capacity for employees and in-process ambulances—an essential benefit for a company producing highly customized emergency vehicles. Horton plans to begin operations in the new facility by early 2026.
