BlackBerry Limited (NYSE:BB) released its third-quarter fiscal 2026 financial results after the market closed on December 18, providing revenue, earnings, and segment-level performance details for the three months ended November 30, 2025.
Under U.S. GAAP, the company reported total revenue of USD 141.8 million, reflecting a sequential increase from the previous quarter. The reported figure was above the guidance range communicated earlier in the fiscal year.
Earnings and Profitability
For the quarter, BlackBerry recorded GAAP basic earnings per share of USD 0.02 and non-GAAP basic earnings per share of USD 0.05, both landing at the upper end of management’s previously outlined guidance range. The results included positive operating cash flow and continued GAAP profitability during the period.
Business Segment Highlights
Segment reporting showed that the QNX division delivered revenue toward the top end of its guidance range, reflecting continued year-over-year growth. The Secure Communications division reported revenue and adjusted EBITDA above its guidance estimates. Licensing revenue and adjusted segment results were also reported broadly in line with internal expectations.
Cash Flow and Financial Position
Operating cash flow improved on both a sequential and year-over-year basis, resulting in positive cash flow of USD 17.9 million for the quarter. During the period, BlackBerry repurchased approximately USD 5 million worth of its common shares. Total cash, cash equivalents, and investments rose sequentially to USD 378 million at quarter-end.

“BlackBerry delivered revenue above the top end of the previously-provided guidance range, which, coupled with ongoing cost discipline, helped the company achieve its strongest quarter of GAAP profitability in almost 4 years, along with increased operating cash flow. Our QNX division recorded an all-time record quarter for revenue as the division continues to extend deeper into automotive and wider into adjacent verticals. Our Secure Communications division performed strongly, delivering higher-than-expected revenue and adjusted EBITDA.”

BlackBerry also shared updated guidance for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026, outlining revenue and earnings per share ranges based on current planning assumptions.
