Alberta Site Targets AI Compute Buildout

AVAX One Technology Ltd. (NASDAQ:AVX), formerly AgriFORCE Growing Systems Ltd. before its November 2025 rebranding, saw shares rise Wednesday after announcing it had signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire a powered data center site in Alberta, Canada, aimed at expanding its AI and high-performance computing infrastructure footprint.

AVAX One operates as a digital infrastructure company building power-first, modular data centers in energy-advantaged regions, leveraging behind-the-meter generation and microgrid design to deliver cost-efficient compute capacity for AI and high-performance computing workloads.

Diversified Digital Infrastructure Strategy

The company also mines Bitcoin in Alberta, Canada and Ohio at approximately 300 petahash per second, while maintaining a strategic Avalanche digital asset treasury that generates onchain yield through native staking and ecosystem participation. As the first publicly traded Avalanche treasury company, AVAX One has positioned itself as an institutional bridge between traditional data center infrastructure and digital asset strategies.

Shares gave back some of an earlier intraday gain that had pushed the stock above $6.00, with the stock now trading at a market capitalization of approximately $39.02 million within a 52-week range of $0.35 to $6.38.

Conclusion

The proposed Alberta data center acquisition adds to AVAX One's strategy of building energy-advantaged compute capacity to serve both AI infrastructure demand and its existing Bitcoin mining operations. As a non-binding letter of intent, the transaction's ultimate terms and completion remain uncertain, and investors will be watching for a definitive agreement as the next catalyst.
